I Believe in Change (And You Should, Too)

I believe in change. I believe in change so strongly that I have made it my career. I help find solutions to heal suffering and replace it with self-empowerment, self-actualization, and vitality. I believe and work for change—for the better, in everything I do.

Or as my friend Sydney astutely quipped, “You’re a fixer. You fix things.”

I’ve taken a long, long break from my blogs. Quite a lot has changed in my life, and I’ve used this time to step back and evaluate what to pursue, what to keep, and what to let go.

One thing is for certain, Life is meant to be enjoyed and lived. For me, there is little compelling reason to do otherwise. As a result, the line between my interests in human factors and ergonomics is increasingly merging with my desire to help rehabilitate people and reconnect them to physical, cognitive, and emotional recovery. The fields are quite similar. I’ve always been about creating end-to-end, complete solutions. :)

At the core, I am and always will be a learner. I am perpetually researching new topics and looking for ways to combine and apply that new information to your problems.

So this posting is a statement of intent and an announcement. My blogs will be merging and/or at least cross-posting.

I’m all about delivering solutions that are immediate, direct, and meaningful to the users, patients, and to the people who support them. It’s time to promote the research and thinking that does that. I believe in change. This is one way of acting on that truth.
